Every year Uttarakhand Tourism organizes Tehri lake festival where one can rejuvenate himself! It is the much-awaited 3 days water sports and cultural event where one can experience the thrills of boating, jet-skiing, banana rides, water skiing, surfing, canoeing, river-rafting, paragliding and scintillating celebrity performances.
Stunning fireworks, aerial sports and other adventure activities along with a number of water based sports will be the main attraction here. One can enjoy the dazzling aerial skills of adventures experts, grand fireworks and spectacular folk dance and music performances and watch incredible aerial skills of adventures experts. One can also enjoy a number of interesting adventure sports such as boating, banana rides, river rafting, paragliding, kayaking, paragliding, water surfing, canoeing and so much more.
It’s one of a kind event where experts and participants get to showcase their aerial skills too. Also, there would be some awesome performances by Bollywood artists for the entertainment of the visitors. At this cultural event, one will also get to witness a different side of the Tehri region in Uttarakhand.
Tehri Dam in Tehri region is one of the largest hydroelectric projects in the world. Today, the ruins of old Tehri lie underwater while the New Tehri is all about modernization and latest technologies. Set at an altitude of 1750 m, Tehri is home to the gigantic Tehri Dam Reservoir, where a number of activities take place.
